Anchorage Police Department Training Reroof

Demolition/removal and installation of approximately 45,300 square feet of EDPM rubber insulated membrane roofing. Structural steel over-frame erection around the perimeter of the existing building creating a large attic space, infill steel with metal stud wall framing and sided with insulated metal panels, and associated trim and flashings. Over framing necessitated the construction of new roof penthouses with new metal doors and metal stairs. Mechanical equipment work included seismic bracing upgrades and roof drain modifications and under slab rain leader repair. Work was completed while the training facility remained in use by Anchorage Police Department.
